Nasturtium
Nasturtiums, tropaeolum majus, are tall climbing plants that thrive in poor soil, and produce lovely edible flowers. The leaves are edible as well, and have a mild peppery flavour similar to radish or watercress.
This climber will weave its way up your fence or trellis to add a layer of privacy to your yard, or can be used as a spiller in your decorative summer urns.
Seeds are an assorted blend of the following colours: red, orange, yellow, fuchsia and white.
Fun Fact: The nasturtium is the traditional 40th wedding anniversary flower. It symbolises the loyalty and devotion between a long-term married couple.
