Peony, Alba Plena (Discontinued)

Peonies are one of the most coveted, most popular, and longest living perennials in Canada. With a lifespan of 100 years or more, peonies are a gift you give to the future. They are easy to grow, outstandingly beautiful, and are treasured by gardeners for their irresistible fragrance.
 
Alba Plena is an early variety, often blooming a couple weeks before your other peonies. It has enormous, ruffled, snowy white double blooms, sometimes with a hint of blush pink during cool weather. This rare heirloom peony dates back to 1839, so with almost 200 years of perennial history you can be sure that Alba Plena will grow to become one of your most prized plants.
 
Pro Tip: Soak the root in water for 1 hour to fully moisten and “wake up” the root prior to planting in soil.
