Wild Bergamot Bee Balm
Wild Bergamot, monarda fistulosa, is a Native Canadian wildflower that is popular, showy, and also known as Bee Balm. A member of the mint family, these native wildflowers spread via underground rhizomes, making it an excellent choice for dry fields, clearings, and meadows.
In summer, Wild Bergamot produces clusters of fragrant pink flowers which makes it highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Leaves and flowers are edible!
